Summer Smiles

Looking for some fun activities for your kids during summer?

Every day for three hours, either during the morning or the afternoon, the BLC welcomes your children to join our fun and engaging activities. Children are well looked after in a fun and relaxing environment, while they are simultaneously learning and growing in all aspects.

The program is mainly designed for children 4 to 9 years old.

There is a structured plan from Monday to Friday encompassing all areas of child development, such as fine- and gross-motor skills as well as cognitive development. Each week covers a specific topic, i.e. the jungle, the oceans, mythical creatures, etc. and the session is broken into two parts; during the first part we read a storybook and do an arts and crafts activity connected to that story, we then break for a snack after which we have more fun activities, including some free play time to allow social interaction between children.

There are two versions of this program:

a) the English Summer Smiles, which takes place in the afternoon from 3 to 6pm, and

b) the Portuguese Summer Smiles which takes place in the morning from 9.30 to 12.30 and aims at providing an immersive opportunity for children to play and learn in Portuguese.
